Abstract

In the economic system of Ecuador coexist different types of economy with a common end, among which are the productive associations. This work addressed those made up of agricultural producers, who seek as a fundamental aim to improve the family economy and quality of life. The research was carried out in a selected association of the province Tunguragua and allowed to demonstrate the incidence of the peasants' association in their family economy. According to the results obtained with the techniques applied for the collection and analysis of the information, it was possible to verify that the farmers do not know the advantages of associating themselves to realize their productions, their distribution, as well as the technical and economic knowledge that allows them to develop successfully as micro entrepreneurs.
