Determination of Budget Expenditures for Hospital Units, Using Econometric Techniques. Case General Hospital “Dr. Juan Bruno Zayas”

Abstract

In the Guidelines for Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution adopted at the Sixth Congress of the PCC is a need to raise the quality of health care services and improve the attention to the health personnel. In this regard, it has prioritized improving budget planning spending at all levels. The results obtained by applying the method of Exponential Smoothing for 2012, in the General Hospital "Dr. Juan Bruno Zayas Alfonso" will meet the aforementioned objectives. Comparing these results with what really executed in the first quarter, the estimate is closer, in relation with the traditional method, meaning a decrease in expenses of 1,8 %.
