MAXIMIZATION OF THE COFFEE PRODUCTION THROUGH LINEAL PROGRAMMING

Abstract

This research was made in the Agricultural and Forestry Enterprise «Sierra Cristal» located in the Segundo Frente municipality of the Ministerio de la Agricultura (MINAGRI). Its main objective is improving the planning process of the entity, through the use of Linear Programming, using the Information System «Lindow», that would increase production levels. The use of mathematical modeling economic through the said system allows advanced solutions to problems, through the data processing and introduction of the fundamental parameters. The distribution given by the model allow to obtain   a production of 508,91 tonnes, which indicates an increase over the plan of the entity from 17,8 %.
