Abstract

The present work has as objective to show the theoretical interpretations of some authors who have ventured from CEPAL, in finding solutions to development problems in the light of the results achieved by neoliberal practice in the region from the 80 and 90 of the last century. It aims to give a finished conclusion of the neo-structuralist theory, but rather some elements that may serve to further deepen this issue, taking into account the important changes that are occurring in Latin America and the new perspective that the region has the ALBA.
