GRINDING PROCESS CONTROL BY BOX-JENKINS IN THE SUGAR COMPANY "PAQUITO ROSALES" ITS INFLUENCE ON THE COST OF PRODUCTION

Abstract

The sugar agroindustrial companies have as purpose the reduction of costs in all the stages of the productive process. Such aspect is reflected in the process of enhancing of the sugar industry, because within its strategic objectives they are included the consolidation of the competitiveness from the sugar sector at a worldwide level, by means the improvement of the process. The work begins with an analysis of the traditional process, as well as the statistical control of the process. It is carried out the modelling of the characteristics of the variable Pol of Bagasse by means of the methodology of ARIMA, in the Sugar Company "Paquito Rosales". The outliers are also detected in the graphics of control of the residuals of the pattern selected ARIMA, that which allows to evaluate the quantity of the effect of the variability of the process and to determine the effect of these in the cost of the production.
