Evaluation of the community tourist potential in the rural settlement for the development of rural tourism products

Abstract

The rural tourism is a modality of under environmental impact and the most human segment inside the alternative tourism, which is developed on the bases of the sustainable tourism. Cuba, for its particularities, is ideal destination for its practice. In this context the objective of evaluating the community tourist potential in the establishment rural Great Stone for the development of products of rural tourism. For their realization, a coherent methodological procedure is designed with the characteristics of the Cuban rural areas, which is developed under a multidimensional focus in complement with the analysis of the offer and the demand. They are also used tools of strategic analysis as general womb Electric, analysis FODA and calculation of the potential index and competitiveness. With the application of the proposed procedure, the high potentialities of the place are verified to pay and to develop activities of rural tourism, reason why her intends a group of actions following the line of the multidimensionality, to take advantage of this potential with the development of products of rural tourism.
