Abstract

Sustainable development must be understood as being closely linked to spirituality, well-being and human development. It refers to a susceptible economic growth to meet the needs of society, without compromising the capacity of future generations. This work is the result of a bibliographic investigation, with the intention of disseminating some of the actions that, as a means of development in Cuba, are implemented in the territories. It contains data on the land, evolution of agriculture in Cuba, factors that affect economic efficiency, taking into account that the only way open to constant prosperity is to take advantage of the elements of Nature.
