Abstract

The objective of the research was based on implementing strategies for an effective
development in the purchasing process in restaurants, qualitative and quantitative methods
were used, and the survey technique was also used. The research was developed from the description of data with the software specialized SPSS 25 in which the reliability could be verified through Cronbach’s alpha giving a result of 0.97, the most preponderant effects were the optimization of purchasing processes in restaurants involves a combination of strategies ranging from selection and management from suppliers to the implementation of technologies and constant improvement through data analysis, these strategies effectively allow restaurants to achieve more efficient purchasing management, improve the quality of their products and maximize their profitability.
