Abstract

The process of planning of the coffee harvest has among its objectives to minimize the cost of transport from the point’s gather of coffee toward the industry. At the moment, this process is carried out by means of the experience of the programmers, without keeping in mind the integral of all the linking’s, that which cannot be carried out without possessing the domain of technical modern of planning and control. The objective of this work is the determination of the good linking of the points gather of coffee toward the industry, in the Agricultural and Forest Enterprise "Sierra Cristal", Segundo Frente of the Santiago de Cuba country, by means of the Lineal Programming of the Transport for a homogeneous product. The solution by means of the professional system QWIN demonstrates that saving average takes place in the costs of transport of $14 340 in each harvest.
