Abstract

The repairs in a sugar power station represent an essential activity for the process of production of sugar and the use of the installed industrial capacity, because in dependence this process is executed of how they could diminish the stops for accidental breaks, activity that is carried out in empiric way based on the experience accumulated in the industrial sector. With the result that the Investigation of Operations like administration instrument, allow to represent the multiple variants of decision and to even the resources limited in function of making better decisions and with it to reduce the total costs of the harvest, outlining as objective to adapt the methodology from the Investigation of Operations to the process of repairs in the sugar industry that generates more efficient results in comparison with the traditional techniques of the operative investigation.
