Abstract

This paper analyzes the competitive administration of the small and medium companies of the smallest trade of Emeralds, Republic of the Ecuador. The different companies related with activities are studied that have discharge it demands in the local population. In this sense, an empiric study has been developed through 344 surveys and personal interviews carried out proprietors, administrators and workers. Finally, the most outstanding revelations in this empiric work are commented, standing out those important barriers that limit the competitiveness of the studied companies.
