An approach to diagnosing the performance of hotel investments in Meliá Santiago Hotel

The hotel expansion has brought a deepening of consideration of investment activity in hotels and in the relationship between the different economic agents who work around a hotel. Currently in Cuba, tourist companies have diversified and specialized to administer and manage its assets. But investors are still weaknesses in processes running, hence the need to diagnose performance. The author proposes to assess the performance of the investments made in the Melia Santiago Hotel between 2014-2018 through indicators of effectiveness and efficiency.
