Influence of environmental culture on the sustainability of the Cantón San Vicente beaches, Ecuador

The objective of the article is to analyze the influence of environmental culture on the sustainability of the beaches of the Cantón San Vicente. The descriptive method was used to study the variables level of instruction, branch of activity and basic services to have an evaluative criterion of the population and the environment according to the statistical results produced by the Redatam software. It was shown that the main activity of the inhabitants is elementary occupations (41.36%) and with a primary education level represented by 44%. The types of waste were evaluated from regular and in the care and conservation of the bad beaches. The reliability of the instrument was 0.97, considered very well. Determining that the role of decentralized autonomous governments in conjunction with educational institutions can develop partnership strategies for the conservation and sustainability of the beaches of the San Vicente Canton
